movie madness

I finally broke into the film and television business in 2017 as a scenic carpenter, building all the mundane to fantastic sets for a variety of productions. I began on Blacklist, and lasted a day before being let go. They moved me to a bigger crew on Bull, my coworkers a cast of characters out of a novel. The workday is ten hours long, the pace can be brutal, the learning curve steep. I love what I do, and can show some of that here, the episodes or movies having long since been aired.

From American Horror Story, Delicate. A large sculptural desk sits on a gigantic white carpet in a luxurious penthouse office belonging to Kim Kardashian’s character.

The desk on the day of the install. Everything had to be hand-carried up the stairs to this penthouse office.

American Horror Story: Delicate. I built most of the curved sections of this basement/dungeon.
