This lovely cobblestone was sourced from among the many still paving the streets of Brooklyn and Manhattan; most are still in place, under the tarmac. It was in use for a long time, evidenced by its smooth top, worn flat by a century or more of horseshoes and cart wheels and automobiles. It features an antique bentwood Jones Family sewing machine case handle from the early 20th century.
it measures 9” long x 4 3/4” wide x 5 3/4” high
